Boca Paila (water inlet) is located to the south of Tulum in the Sian Ka’an Ecological Reserve which is located 15 minutes from the entrance. This beautiful protected area helps to appreciate unspoiled nature and absolutely majestic place.

To get to Boca Paila, follow the white dirt road all the way and it takes you to the pristine beaches and unspoiled nature. During the tour you can admire the flora and fauna that invite you to relax in the shade. There is a strange but satisfying feeling from the calmness of Boca Paila and you’ll want to spend all day relaxing on its pristine beaches surrounded by lush nature.

To reach its clear waters and white sand you will enter their wildlife that has trails that lead along the beach, the shallowness of the shore and guarded area is ideal for camping and spending a memorable night this quiet, isolated place. For fishing enthusiasts this area is ideal. There is a bridge from Boca Paila to Punta Allen and is a great spot to fish. It’s quiet and the view of the beaches you will make your day.

Because it is a protected area, it is not lived in and has limited stores and services. If you make plans to spend time here it is important to keep everything you need such as food, beverages, tent, etc. It is an experience not to forget and no doubt that you will wish to repeat.
