Progreso is one of the Yucatan beaches most visited by its inhabitants, because it is only 20 minutes from the city of Mérida and offers a lot of fun. In recent years they have strived to take care of the port and have made numerous changes throughout the city to provide clean, safe and pleasant spaces.

One of the places that have been revived is a street known as La Mugre, which is located just two blocks from the Malecón and has been completely restored to the point that the place is unrecognizable.

Now it is known as the Callejón del Amor, a new place where tourists can spend a pleasant and fun time. There are three attractions that are what most attract the attention of visitors, a huge sign with a phrase that says "Fall in love with Progress" that is built by hundreds of red flowers, immediately you will notice a huge heart decorated with emblematic details of the place that and immediately invites you to take a photo of the memory and finally some new illuminated bars that when touched change color, which amazes and amuses the children who come to this place.

Warm-toned series lights have been placed throughout the alley so that at nightfall the atmosphere is transformed from fun to romantic, so you will see families, friends and couples taking pictures in this corridor.
