How to get Holbox?

In Your Car.

If you go take the road from Cancun to Merida (a free) and drive to the town of New Xcan, see a sign that says Holbox, back derechay hand drive to the town of Chiquila. Here you can leave your car in any parking are secure sites and take a boat across to the island or pay the ser vice of a speedboat.

If you leave Merida take the toll road Merida - Valladolid, and from there take the road via free to Cancun, drive to the town of New Xcan back to the left and drive to Chiquila.

(We recommend you be careful on the new road section Xcan - Chiquila since there are some sections under repair)

Bus.

Go to the bus terminal in Cancun (ADO) is a bus that leaves daily at 0750, at 12.40 and 13.30. It will take you directly to the port of Chiquilá (3 hours).
In Merida, the bus that takes Isla Holbox leaves at 23:50 pm and has a running time of approximately 5 hours.

Plane.

You can rent a small plane in Cancun or Playa del Carmen that takes you to Isla Holbox aproximandamente 30 minutes
